Like most people, I learned the hard way. Dealing with instability, conflicting advice, and systems that were harder to manage than they needed to be. Over time, that turned into something more.

I spent years on the industry side working with a major aquarium controller company, where I got a deeper look at how systems actually function, and where most people run into problems.

What I saw over and over again was that most issues weren’t about effort, they were about complexity. Too many moving parts, too much conflicting information, and systems that weren’t designed to be stable long-term.

Oceanite was created to simplify reefing, not complicate it.
